This website is an information page with a single contact form. It uses no cookies, no analytics services, no tracking technologies and no third-party embeds. Apart from the contact form described below, we neither collect nor store any personal data through it.
The contact form asks only for your message; no name or email address is requested. When you send it, the message is emailed to us together with the time of submission and the IP address it was sent from. The IP address is processed solely to detect and prevent abuse of the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the message itself is processed to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Nothing is stored in a database and no third-party form service is involved. The message is delivered by our hosting provider's mail server directly to our mailbox. We delete the message once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
To protect the form against automated abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address is stored temporarily on our server for up to one hour so that we can limit how often the form is submitted from the same connection (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hash cannot be used to identify you and is deleted automatically. No captcha service or other third party is involved.
Please note that because the form does not collect a reply address, we can only respond if you include one in your message.
When the website is accessed, our hosting provider (dogado GmbH, Germany) processes technically necessary access data (such as IP address, time of access and browser type) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). The log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
